How to use it
The online image hue adjuster lets you shift every colour in a photo around the colour wheel and see the result straight away.

Getting a good result
Try colour swaps
A shift of around a third of the slider turns reds to greens, and around two thirds turns them to blues. It is a quick way to preview product colour variations.
Careful with skin tones
Portraits go strange quickly because skin tones shift along with everything else. Small adjustments are best.
It loops
The hue wraps around the colour wheel, so a full turn at 100 brings you back to the original colours.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The adjustment is applied inside your browser, so your image never leaves your device and nothing is stored on our servers.
What is hue?
Hue is the basic colour of something, such as red, green or blue, as opposed to how light or how vivid it is. Changing the hue rotates every colour around the colour wheel while keeping the brightness and detail of the image.
Why does the image look the same at 100?
The slider covers one complete turn of the colour wheel, so 100 lands back on the original colours. Values in between give you every other colour combination.
Does it change saturation or brightness?
It is designed to change only the colour itself. If you also want stronger or weaker colours, pair it with a saturation or vibrance adjustment, and use brightness or contrast for light and dark.
Which file types can I use, and what do I get back?
You can add PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP images. The result is always downloaded as a PNG. For animated GIFs, only the first frame is used.
Why was my large image made smaller?
To keep your browser responsive, images longer than 4000 pixels on their longest side are scaled down before editing. The line under the preview shows the original and resized dimensions.
How do I compare the result with the original?
Press and hold the Compare button to show the original image, then let go to see your adjusted version again. On a keyboard, hold the Space or Enter key while the button is focused.
